Technology

The Linderman Group

In 2010, my friend Lionel Alexander Martinez and I started an IT solutions consulting firm. What initially began as a relatively small operation, helping people with technology in their homes, grew to support entire small and medium size business IT needs and requirements.

We look at every problem from an end user perspective, figure out ways to make interaction with technology more intuitive, and focus on implementing smart and sustainable solutions.

Please visit our site below and let us know if we can help you implement technological solutions in your offices and homes, which will not only make you more productive, but also improve your quality of life.

Photography

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been taking photos. There’s very rarely a moment in time in which I’m not accompanied by a camera of some sort.

Recently, I launched a website featuring my photographic portfolio which I wish to share with the world. Since the website launched, I am amazed and humbled by all the attention and overwhelming positive response it has received. So thank you!

Have a look at my photographic work, drop me a line to let me know what you think of it, and please share it with the world. They’re really just a few well put together pixels.

“Art is useless because its aim is simply to create a mood. It is not meant to instruct, or to influence action in any way. It is superbly sterile, and the note of its pleasure is sterility. If the contemplation of a work of art is followed by activity of any kind, the work is either of a very second-rate order, or the spectator has failed to realise the complete artistic impression.

A work of art is useless as a flower is useless. A flower blossoms for its own joy. We gain a moment of joy by looking at it. That is all that is to be said about our relations to flowers. Of course man may sell the flower, and so make it useful to him, but this has nothing to do with the flower. It is not part of its essence. It is accidental. It is a misuse. All this is I fear very obscure. But the subject is a long one.”

Music

Jazz In Your Pants

As is the case with photography, I’ve found myself to be quite musically inclined for the entirety of my life! I started playing keyboard at a young age. Throughout my adolescence and teen years, I gravitated toward a few different instruments, starting with the Trumpet, and eventually moving to Guitar and various forms of Percussion.

My interest in percussion instruments led me to music composition, production and DJing. My introductory attempts were with VirtualDJ on my MacBook and I soon started to use MIDI controllers with digital software. With a bit more practice came the upgrade to CDJs and turntables, most notably, the legendary Technics SL-1200.

What you’ll find on the site below are some of the “mixtapes” I’ve composed over the years. Majority of the music used in the mixes is Electronic House but as of late I have been including snippets of Hip-Hop, Rap, Reggae, Dancehall, Trap and some remixes of songs that will evoke feelings of nostalgia.

I hope the music accompanies you on long drives, workouts at the gym, time spent with friends partying, or if you’re ever having a lazy weekday afternoon on your couch!
